One Dead Turbocor, 48 Hours, and a Danfoss Controller Quote That Changed How I Buy Parts

It was 8:47 on a Tuesday morning when our lead engineer walked into my office carrying the control module from a Danfoss Turbocor compressor. I didn't need an explanation. The smell of burnt electronics told me everything (and trust me, that smell stays in your nose for hours).
